Powered by custom made, high precision optics, Cinomorph lens by Prismasonic brings a real cinematic atmosphere in your own home theater the way the director intended. The lens with a cylindrical optics produces a fixed 1.35 x horizontal expand to the projected image, thus supporting perfectly the constant height 2.40:1 setup. A very large aperture 4-element optics allows to setup for throw ratios down to 1.25. To adjust a razor sharp focus of no compromise, the lens has a continuous focus correction for throw distances down to 2 meters, and the focus does not change when removing the lens for 1.78:1 material. Also with the 2.4:1 aspect ratio produced by the lens, the picture has around 15% more luminance compared to the zoomed picture of same size and projected from the same throw distance. This is due to taking the unused pixels of black bars into the use with the aid of our anamorphic lens.
The optics of C-150 series has been finished by the optical glass using the highest possible
specification parameters during the manufacturing process. In order to correct the chromatic aberration, the product has an achromatic optics, which means that the both lenses are made by two glass materials of different optical properties. All the air-glass surfaces have broad band anti-reflection coatings to prevent reflections and ghosting, and to maximize the light output of the projector.
The C-150 series has a remote controlled focus adjusting, which is a very good feature to make a control easier and to get a focus exact, especially with long throw distances or ceiling mounted setups. The motors are very silent, and it lasts few seconds to adjust the focus perfectly. The remote controller has two powerful IR leds, which can effortless control the lens even at the very largest theater rooms from the seat, via screen, back to lens unit. The IR commands can also be transferred to the universal remote controller.
The lens is available in black finished aluminum. Both shelf and ceiling mounting are conceivable. As a nice feature the housing has a removable bottom plate. Thus it is convenient to clean the optics from both sides.

Including the remote controlled focus, this lens has a manual controlled lift stand, which allows to shift the lens aside from the beam when watching the 1.78:1 material. There is a pair of adjustable slide locks for both 'in' and 'out' positions to match the different projectors and setups perfectly, and to make the mode switching very quick and precise. Since the lift system uses the constant force springs for neutralizing the gravity force, it is very convenient and light to move up the lens manually by hand on the upper slide locks. And on the other hand the spring system allows lens to land on the lower locks very smoothly.

The motors are very silent, and it lasts around three seconds for lens to go from 'in' to 'out' position. The remote controller has two powerful IR leds, which can effortless control the lens even at the very largest theater rooms from the seat, via screen, back to lens unit. The IR commands can also be transferred to the universal remote controller.
